Blake Hall College Entry Requirements

Most International Students (except those from exempted countries) must provide a valid SELT test to qualify for a Tier 4 visa. If you are unable to provide a valid SELT test the College cannot accept you.

It is the responsibility of the College to adhere to all UKBA entry requirements and all Academic requirements of our Partner University, Glyndŵr University (Wales). The level of English you have to achieve is dependent on the level of studies for which you wish to enrol. Please see the UKBA English Requirements below to find out the minimum English level required for a visa. If you are a national of a majority English-speaking country as defined by the UKBA: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/studyingintheuk/adult-students/can-you-apply/english-language/# you are not required to prove competency in English. If you are an EU student you are not subject to the UKBA English language requirements, but must comply with the conditions of the relevant University. The College provides English assistance where necessary through Pre-Sessional classes and individual tutorials.

For a student to qualify for any course at Blake Hall College he/she has to provide the College with a qualification that is equivalent to A- levels (according to UK NARIC, the International Framework by which all qualifications are measured). If the student wishes to enrol for a Postgraduate Degree he/she has to provide the College with a qualification equivalent to a Bachelors Ordinary Degree (according to UK NARIC).

If a student is unsure of his/her qualification we recommend he/she sends through all recent qualifications to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . The Admissions Officer will then be able to assess the qualification and recommend the most suitable course.
