Students can enjoy the luxury of a calm and peaceful study environment at Blake Hall College. The College is 200 metres away from Canada Water underground station (which is 1 station away from the well-known financial capital Canary Wharf and 2 stations away from London Bridge - the heart and soul of London tourism). The location gives students a wide variety of opportunities to enjoy a vibrant student experience and to be exposed to the exciting city life that only central London can offer.

The building is the famous and historically recognised Dock Offices. This magnificent building has space for 1500 students. Students have everything they need to lead a well balanced and happy existence. The brand new Southwark Library is only 50 metres from the college, Surrey Quays Shopping Centre is located just behind the College and includes extensive parking facilities and the beautiful Southwark Park is only minutes away, where students can play cricket or enjoy picnics by the lake. Furthermore a gym with concessionary student rates is only 100 metres away, enabling our students to stay healthy and fit.

The focus of Blake Hall College is to create an environment for students where they can feel safe and secure and where they can learn as much as possible. We provide them with fully equipped classrooms, computers, free internet connection and Wi-Fi to make it easy for them to study.

 Library

We have an online library where students can, for no charge, read all of the books which they discuss in class. Our website also provides them with an easy accessibility to resources, lecture slides and class notes whether they are on campus or at home.

The new local library nearby is one of the biggest student attractions in the Southwark area. The Library has many books that students can use as additional resources for their assignments.

 Community Activities

The students will also be involved in the community when attending the Library. The Council arranges activities there such as DJ workshops, a self-defence group for girls, an X-box and PS2 games society and provides a health advisor who is there to talk to young people about any health related issues. In addition there are also comedy shows, study groups and quiet learning centres.

 Learning Resources and Classrooms

At Blake Hall College we have fully equipped classrooms. All these classrooms have a projector, a Computer and comfortable seats where students can study in style. We also have two computer labs so that students can complete their assignments on campus. For those who would prefer to work on their own computers, we also have unlimited free WIFI.
