1.  Blake Hall College has been fully operational since 2001.

2.  Blake Hall College is a partner College of Glyndŵr University.

3.  Blake Hall College has access to Glyndŵr University staff, academic courses and on-line library and other facilities.

4.  Blake Hall College academic staff who lecture on degree and MBA courses are approved by the relevant university   (Glyndŵr University or University of Greenwich).

5.  Students’ assignments and examinations are marked by Blake Hall College staff, but assessed and moderated by the relevant University.

6.  Blake Hall College students receive the same courses as University students for up to 30% less. Blake Hall College course fees are therefore more affordable.

7.  Students will qualify for a 3 year visa if they enrol in one of our degree courses.

8.  Blake Hall College:

          i.Is an approved partner of Glyndŵr University and offers the following courses:

            • BA (Hons) Business Accounting
            • BA (Hons) Business Marketing
            • BA (Hons) Business Management

          ii.Is an approved Edexcel Centre since 2009.

          iii.Offers a final year “top up” from the University of Greenwich, in BSc (Hons) Computing and BA (Hons) Business Studies.

          iv.Is approved by NCC Education and the Association of Business Executives (ABE).

          v.Is accredited by The British Accreditation Council for Higher and Further Education (BAC).

9.    Upon enrolment, students will receive student registration cards both from Blake Hall College as well as the relevant University.

10.   Blake Hall College has passed all of its interim inspections by the BAC and UKBA.

11.   Blake Hall College has been an A-rated College since December 2008.

12.   Blake Hall College provides a wide range of courses including an MBA from Glyndŵr University.

13.   Glyndŵr University has an employability rate of 94.2%. This means that 94.2% of their students will be employed within 6 months after graduating from Glyndŵr University, which is the same percentage as Oxford and Cambridge.

14.   The academic staff at Blake Hall College are highly qualified. Many are currently enrolled in Doctorate degrees.

15.   English language support is provided, if required, through classes in pre-sessional English and E.A.P. (English for Academic Purposes) and individual appointments can be booked with a qualified English tutor.

16.   Blake Hall College is located in central London at Canada Water Tube Station which is:

  • • 1 station from Canary Wharf (the new financial heart of London)
  • • 2 stops from London Bridge
  • • 4 stops from Waterloo Station
  •            • 200 metres from Canada Water underground and there is a bus station which makes it very convenient to travel to any part of the city.

17.  Blake Hall College is close to a well-equipped gym, which offers students concessional rates. It’s located behind Tesco’s supermarket and Surrey Quays shopping mall, opposite the beautifulSouthwark Park which has a lake and sports fields and is next to the brand new Southwark library.

18.   Students at Blake Hall College come from a wide variety of nationalities and cultures, which makes the college a truly cosmopolitan experience.

19.   The staff and services are professional yet, at the same time give the feel of a close knit family environment, which helps students to adapt more easily to their new surroundings. All questions are answered quickly, and advice is freely offered to students.

20.   Blake Hall College is the only private college in the UK (according to the BAC) which has a full time, democratically elected Students’ Union.

21.   The Students’ Union organises and helps to fund social and sporting events such as boat trips on the River Thames, trips to Europe and around the UK, outings to museums, sports tournaments and parties. This makes for a vibrant student life on Campus. Students get the opportunity to meet new friends and learn about other cultures, languages and traditions.

22.   The College also has a full-Time Welfare Officer, who can assist and support students to deal with issues such as jobs, accommodation, travel, visas and health matters. The College also provides a confidential counselling and support service to help students to settle into a new country and to deal with any personal issues which may arise.
